LOST SANCTUARY + EIGHT LIVES DOWN + NUKING MOOSE

Just coming from co-headlining the Bremer Metal Fest (B:M:F) on Friday and Saturday, respectively, EIGHT LIVES DOWN and LOST SANCTUARY set out to rock Münster!
To make this night even hotter, they will be joined by NUKING MOOSE from Bremen.

EIGHT LIVES DOWN (www.eightlivesdown.com) have their roots in groove and thrash metal but constantly branch out stylistically incorporating influences from prog, death and black metal, as well as various other musical genres such as punk, blues and traditional folk music, while vocals range from low growls and high screams to clean and even operatic phrases. All of this creates a truly unique sound, unmistakably heavy and angry, yet refreshingly different and unpredictable as the band plays with time signatures and song structure.
Fittingly, Eight Lives Down’s members are hailing from Poland, France, Greece/New Zealand and Brazil.

LOST SANCTUARY is a Melodic Thrash Metal Band from Bremen, Germany, fronted by guitarist/vocalist Dan Baune, most notably of British Trad-Metal flagship Monument They released their self-titled debut album in 2021 via ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records.
The band presents a sound that is versatile and modern without being too
over-produced. Authenticity is the key word here, with the Band freely combining influences from Trad to Thrash to Power Metal without a care for
genre labels. They just want to play great heavy music, and everyone can tell.
Their sound is raw but tight and polished, catchy but aggressive, varied
without ever becoming too progressive or intellectual.
Live, the band presents itself with incredible vigour. From the first count-in to
the last power-chord, the Lost Sanctuary show bursts with youthful energy
and cheeky on-stage antics. Everyone knows from the get-go: These guys are
having fun on stage, and they live and love what they do! No stiffness or
serious Metal demeanour, no hiding behind backing tracks, giant stage sets,
masks and costumes. Just four lads, right there, live and in the moment,
giving it all they’ve got and then some. Every. Single. Goddamn. Night.

NUKING MOOSE (https://nukingmoose.com): Melodic Death Metal. Mit Metalcore-Einflüssen. Und Frontfrau. Da fällt es schwer Vergleiche zu finden.
Seit 2013 fahren Nuking Moose ihre Mischung aus alledem und machen dabei etwas, was am ehesten zwischen The Agonist und Jinjer zuhause ist.
Während Siebensaiter-Gitarre und Bass dichte Soundwände aus den Boxen drücken, nutzt die zweite Gitarre ebendiese als Grundlage für sphärische Akzente und Melodieführungen, die jeden Song auch instrumental zum Unikat machen. Regelmäßige Cleanparts sorgen dabei für einen Dynamikumfang über dem Genredurchschnitt.
Das alles bekommt endgültig etwas sehr Eigenes durch Sängerin Liz, die die dynamischen Songs als Bett für unglaublich abwechslungsreiche Gesangslinien zu nutzen weiß. Bei mächtigen Jinjer-Growls ist sie ebenso zuhause wie bei melodiösen In-Flames-Hooks; warme, tiefe Passagen singt sie genauso glaubwürdig wie elfengleiche hohe Linien.
Die Band bleibt nicht nur akustisch im Kopf. Das einnehmende Auftreten der Frontfrau mit ihrem markanten Aussehen und die energiegeladene Show der Band, bei der nie Stillstand auf der Bühne herrscht sind es Wert die Band live zu erleben.
