Mit Basis zwischen Berlin und Münster arbeitet die Band aktuell an ihrem Debütalbum.

Karlmer is an alternative rock band formed in Byron Bay, Australia in 2025 by frontman Tim Degen, now based between Speyer and Berlin, Germany with Jasmin Azarfar (bass), Roman Fischer (drums), and Lukas Büttner (lead guitar). After just weeks of rehearsals, they played a sold-out debut show (80 capacity) on May 2, 2025. Within only six months they performed at HaDiKo Student Festival, sold out Tollhaus (300 cap) and a 180-capacity church show in Speyer and landed a radio interview on Die Neue Welle. They also got booked for ‚Das Fest‘ 2026 in Karlsruhe and ‚Unifest Karlsruhe‘ 2026. Their sound, reminiscent of Arctic Monkeys, Foals, and The 1975, blends raw energy, catchy hooks, and atmospheric rock. Spotify growth from zero to around 5000 monthly listeners, with songs surpassing 10,000 plays, shows Karlmer is growing fast in the German scene.
